MoonDoll Festival 2022 is set for Saturday June 4th at Brisbane’s ‘home of rock’; the iconic Mansfield Tavern. This year sees the event reach for the stars as the festival showcases not only amazing music, but also art, fashion and more.
MoonDoll 2022 boasts over 20 bands, art displays, fashion shows, market stalls, roaming performance artists, face and body painting and a special festival menu! A true showcase of not only the local creative talent in Brisbane but from beyond too. Headlining the two stages is New Zealand’s powerful performers, Kaosis who wowed crowds with their live performance in Brisbane at the Dead Of Winter Festival a few years back. Also headlining is the incredibly talented and always lovely Ben Ely who most would know from Regurgitator and Pangaea, playing with his band, The Spectres Of Light.
To add more than just amazing live music, festival creator Shannon-Lee (AKA The Colourful Writer) has added a fashion show and an art display featuring and showcasing local designers and artists. On the day and night, you will also catch performance artists roaming between the stages. Market stalls and merch stands will line the surrounds of each stage giving punters an opportunity to support the bands and local small business owners and creatives as they sell their wares. Head chef and his team at the Mansfield Tavern will be cooking up a storm of delicious festival food to feed the masses as they enjoy the fun and frivolity of such an incredible and special event.
The mixed genre line up includes some of Brisbane’s finest musicians and bands as well as talent from the Gold Coast, NSW, Adelaide and New Zealand.
