Coming in hot with a rich, heart-thumping groover is Brisbane-based electro-pop artist Miss Lucy, who is today delivering his new single Still Got Hearts (On My Phone).
Serving up his first release since 2020, Miss Lucy is the solo project of Blair Condon, who is bringing his synth-infused flair to latest single Still Got Hearts (On My Phone), which explores the idea of changing relationships and a reluctance to fully accept that someone who used to hold an important place in your life no longer does.
“I was inspired to write this song after hanging out with a friend who, while showing me a video on their phone, received a text from their ex with the contact on their phone still saved with love hearts by their name from when they were dating,†Blair explains.
“I somewhat related to that as I’ve always hated the idea of changing a loved one’s contact after you break up and could definitely see myself doing that.â€
Featuring decadent bass lines, buoyant melodies and irresistible bursts of anti-gravity synths, Still Got Hearts pulses with feel-good, groove-based pop brought to life through endearing vocals and charming storytelling.
Taking inspiration from 70’s songwriting greats, adding modern sound palettes reminiscent of artists like Rex Orange County, Joji, Frank Ocean and Dominic Fike, and weaving through distinctive electro-pop textures, Miss Lucy is responsible for each stage of the creative process, from lyrics and vocals to production and engineering, with recording help from Matt McGuffie.
“I am trying to be as collaborative in my music as I can, finding inspiration from how artists like Steely Dan, Supertramp and Stevie Wonder compose a song, whilst also leaning into my love of electro-pop textures explored by more modern artists like Phoenix and 070 Shake,†Blair says.
“I think this shines through in the different sonic direction this song takes when compared to my previous releases.â€
Making his highly-anticipated return with new single Still Got Hearts (On My Phone) Miss Lucy is turning heads and moving feet, delivering gripping electro-pop soundscapes that stick in the brain and sink beneath the skin.

Based in Brisbane, Miss Lucy is the electro-pop project of Blair Condon – turning his passion for vintage aesthetics, sonic nostalgia and futuristic nuances into a distinctive culmination of synth-tinged electro-pop.
From being handed a violin at the age of eight, to wanting to learn every instrument he could, Blair’s enthusiasm for music quickly escalated, leading him to the realisation that all he wanted to do was make music.
Emerging in 2020 with debut single All In A Day, Miss Lucy quickly saw support from industry heavyweights, with sophomore single Ocean receiving play on Australian Youth Broadcaster Triple J Unearthed, and a video premiere on the AU Review. The music video accompaniment for Ocean was also featured as rage’s ‘WILD ONE’ as well as receiving support from MTV Upload.
The following year saw Miss Lucy focussing on songwriting and recording in his home studio, as well as supporting Australian indie pop artist Sycco on the Gold Coast leg of her tour.
Now, making his early-awaited return with a refined sound and addictive new single, Miss Lucy is paving the way for more releases to come with his unique blend of past and present textures peeking through transformative electro-pop reveries.
