ANNA’S APPRENTICE Paint Naivety Of Youth With ‘I Remember’

I Remember is a potently poetic, hometown anthem by Brisbane’s newest Indie Rock trio Anna’s Apprentice.

Released today on all platforms, Anna’s Apprentice‘s debut single fuses euphoric melodic textures with reminiscence to create a time capsule of youthful escapism. “The inspiration comes from the naivety of youth” explains frontman and songwriter Jayden Lynch, “wanting to escape the place you’re from, only to realise that it’s not all that bad”.

The first single from a forthcoming EP, Anna’s Apprentice entices fans of Teenage Dads, British India and Death by Denim, by using lucid lyricism and a guitar fuelled atmosphere to paint a picture of a moment in time.

Emerging from the creative embers of numerous local outfits over the last decade including Belrose, Foxymoron and Atripwithsid, the melding of folk, punk and rock  inspirations in Anna’s Apprentice give them an organic and refined tonality in the Indie-Rock genre.
