Following her acclaimed ARIA-nominated ‘Meanjin’ EP and national tour, celebrated Gamilaraay artist Thelma Plum today announces ‘When Rosie Met Monsters’ – a double EP of her first two releases, ‘Rosie’ and ‘Monsters’, available for the first time together on CD, cassette, and vinyl on November 25.
Talking about the upcoming double release, Thelma says “I am super excited that my first two EPs, full of songs that started me on this adventure, get to hang out together!”
‘When Rosie Met Monsters’ will available at indie retailers on white vinyl, blue vinyl via the Warner Music Australia store, and pink vinyl exclusively at JB HI-FI. The release will arrive alongside Thelma’s entire catalogue, including ‘Better In Blak’ and ‘Meanjin’, plus an expanded digital edition of ‘Meanjin’ which will include live versions of all songs on the EP.
Today’s announcement follows a busy last few months for Thelma. Both her ‘Meanjin’ EP and national tour have been nominated in this year’s ARIA Awards, where Thelma is up for Best Pop Release (‘Meanjin’), Best Australian Live Act (‘Meanjin’ Tour), and Best Solo Artist. In October, Thelma also took on the role of Ambassador for Melbourne Fashion Week. Thelma will perform two remaining dates in support of Vance Joy this month, followed by an appearance at First & Forever Festival in Victoria.
