Today, Fanning Dempsey National Park release the official studio music video clip for their latest single Blood from the critically acclaimed debut album, ‘The Deluge’, out now.

‘The Deluge’ debuted at #3 on the ARIA Album Chart, #1 on the Vinyl Chart and was the Double J Feature Album. Recorded across Norway, San Francisco, and Byron Bay and produced by Grammy-winning producer Craig Silvey (Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, Sam Fender) ‘The Deluge’ saw Fanning Dempsey National Park craft a bold new sound.

The warm melody and open-hearted reflection of the latest single Blood has drawn people to the song, and is accompanied by a beautifully raw studio music video clip shot at 2200 Studios in San Francisco during the recording of the album in the US Spring of ’23. For the band, the pair knew drummer Michael Urbano and bassist Craig McFarland from their Celebrating David Bowie adventure in 2020 and synth player Adam McDougall to deliver ‘The Deluge’ to its thrilling conclusion.

Over the last few months, Fanning Dempsey National Park have introduced us to their sonic adventure, dropping a series of singles and videos from ‘The Deluge’ – the pumping updraft of lead single Disconnect (#1 Triple M radio) to the title track ‘The Deluge‘ which emerged from Fanning’s experiment with monochromatic rhythm and vocal melody, elevated by Dempsey’s wild spasms of treated guitar and synth, to Born Expecting; a scathing critique of Scott Morrison’s tenure; to the latest single Blood; the reflective and subdued 80’s-style rock melody. With each successive release, the singles have received widespread airplay across triple j, Double J, Triple M, ABC Local and Rage with playlisting support from Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube and VEVO.

Fanning Dempsey National Park will take their debut LP on the road for ‘The Deluge’ 2024 National Tour in October and November playing Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth, supported by Merpire.

With only three weeks to go until the headline tour kicks off in Brisbane on Friday October 11, comes news that Sydney’s Enmore Theatre show on Saturday October 12 has SOLD OUT making it the fourth sold out show on this national run of dates.

First shows in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth are sold out, leading to second shows going on sale – Brisbane (The Tivoli, Saturday 9 November), Melbourne (The Forum, Sunday 20 October) and Perth (Astor Theatre, Thursday 31 October) – with limited tickets now remaining.

Due to the incredible demand for tickets to see two of Australia’s most revered artists, a handful of tickets have been released for all shows (except Sydney) and these will be the final tickets available – no further shows will be added on what has become one of the year’s most anticipated tours.
