Rising Australian country music singer-songwriter Sara Berki today announces her signing to Warner Music Australia alongside the release of her hotly anticipated new single, twice.

Combining a modern take on timeless storytelling with a voice that ranges from angelic to soaring, and an undeniably engaging presence, both on and off the stage, Sara Berki has established herself as one of the most exciting and prolific new artists in Australian country music.

On her signing to Warner, Sara comments “I am incredibly excited to be working with the Warner Music team to take my music to the world. From the very first meeting through to all the creative discussions we’ve had over the last few months, I have felt completely supported every step of the way. It truly feels like a family and I am beyond grateful that they believe in me and my music.”

President of Warner Music Australasia Dan Rosen adding “We are so excited to welcome Sara Berki into the Warner Music Australia family. Like so many around the country, Sara’s captivating voice and magnetic stage presence captured our attention from the start. We can’t wait to work with Sara and take her music to a growing fan base both at home and around the world.”

Co-written and produced with Liam Quinn, twice highlights Berki’s knack for crafting powerful tunes with resonating meanings. “It was such a blast creating this one” says Sara on new single twice. “I pictured myself after a breakup, hitting the road and checking into a cheap motel. It’s part escape and part joy for getting out of a relationship with the wrong person. We wanted it to be fun, imaginative and super catchy and I think it’s exactly that!”

Berki is set to debut twice live when she takes the stage at Warner’s showcase as part of the inaugural SXSW Sydney program on Wednesday 16th October at Kyiv Social alongside Bean Magazine (AU), CHISEKO (AU), Jason Dhakal (PHIL) and Oliva Marsh (KR).

twice follows a string of incredible performances this year, including Vogue’s Visionary Women’s Dinner, the Twisters Soundtrack Brisbane Showcase where she covered Lainey Wilson’s Out Of Oklahoma and opening for Dasha’s fan show in Sydney at Lazy Bones. To top it all off, Sara achieved a viral hit, with her live version of the John Denver classic Take Me Home, Country Roads, having been viewed over 17 million times. The performance was recorded at the Brisbane Lions vs Carlton AFL match at the Gabba in Brisbane, where Sara was invited to perform the “unofficial Lions team anthem” along with her original songs, for the pre-show entertainment. The performance is bringing a legion of new fans from across the world who are discovering Sara’s music.
