Headlined by Jack River and Montaigne, Undertone Festival will debut on the Gold Coast this  November, showcasing a powerful line-up of artists shaping the Australian music scene.

Presented by the Gold Coast Music Network, Undertone will bring music lovers of all ages to Miami  Marketta on the Gold Coast, where eight acts will perform with no set clashes on Sunday, 10 November 2024.  

Jack River and Montaigne will be joined by Hope D as well as local acts Hussy Hicks, Tania Doko,  Annie Hamilton, Eleea and Tomorrow’s Forecast.  

This will be the first time ARIA award-winning artist Jack River has performed a show on the Gold Coast, where she will headline the festival with a one-hour set of her alternative-indie hits, including fan favourites Fool’s Gold and Palo Alto.  

Known for her dreamy, atmospheric sound, Jack River makes the perfect headliner for UNDERTONE as she actively campaigns for inclusion, climate change action, First Nations and women’s rights.  

Jack River will be joined by Montaigne (Sydney), Hope D (Brisbane), Hussy Hicks (Northern Rivers),  Tania Doko (QLD), Annie Hamilton (NSW), Eleea (Gold Coast), and Tomorrow’s Forecast (Gold  Coast).  

Award-winning artist, songwriter, producer and performer, Montaigne will bring their alluring sound and mesmerising lyrics to the Gold Coast for the first time since 2018.  

This vibrant all-ages festival is more than just a showcase of music, it represents a movement dedicated to embracing diversity, accessibility and inclusivity.  

With influences ranging from indie pop to punk rock, the lineup offers a wide spectrum of genres,  guaranteeing a day of unmissable performances in a welcoming, family-friendly environment.

As part of a partnership between UNDERTONE and Lonely Lands Liquids, $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the I AM ME Foundation.  

Founded by Australian music icon Tash Sultana, Jimi Sultana and Mark Rice, the I AM ME Foundation platform empowers and uplifts LGBTQIA+ trans, non-binary & gender non-conforming people.
