Fresh off the back of the release of her new single twice, rising Australian country music artist Sara Berki today announces her debut headline tour, the ‘Fool Me Twice’ Tour, slated for February 2025.
Kicking off in Brisbane, QLD, on the 7th February 2025, the six date tour will see Sara take her highly anticipated live set to venues in Wollongong, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. Sara’s newsletter subscribers will be given exclusive access to a pre-sale from 10.00am AEDT, Thursday 31st October before tickets go on sale to the general public from 10.00am AEDT, Friday 1st November.
Sara will be performing a combination of two show-stopping sets – a solo acoustic set, plus a full band set across the series of national shows. The solo set will give fans a chance to hear Sara’s raw talents as a singer-songwriter, while the band set will showcase just why she is becoming a festival favourite! Along for the ride as a special support guest will be Ohioan born, Sydney based multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Charlie Finn and 2024 Ekka Country Showdown winner, Mack Geiger, in Brisbane.
“I have been waiting for the day to be able to announce my first headline tour” comments Sara.“It’s a scary step but one that all artists hope for when they’re starting out. These shows will be a lot of fun! We’ve got the super-talented Charlie Finn and Mack Geiger (Bris only) opening and then I’m going to do two sets each night. The first one is a solo set of new songs and old songs and whatever we feel like at the time and then I get to rock out with my band for the second set. In Perth and ? Adelaide we’re going to do the second set as a duo with Charlie playing pedal steel, acoustic guitar and mandolin. This is just the start and we’ve got so many places we would love to take this show – I can’t wait to see everyone when we kick off the tour in February!”
2024 has been an incredible year for Sara, kicking off with winning the 2024 APRA Professional Development Award for Country/Americana, recognising Sara’s songwriting talents; and topped off with the announcement of signing a record deal with Warner Music Australia and releasing her latest hit single, twice. In between, Sara has performed at some of the biggest festivals, including CMC Rocks and Gympie Muster, got to open for U.S sensation, Dasha, as well as performing for the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba twice. Sara’s performance of the John Denver classic, Take Me Home, Country Roads at the AFL season kick-off, has received over 17 million views since it was posted in March, bringing in new fans from all around the world.
Sara’s combination of timeless storytelling with her modern country sensibilities and her down-to-earth presence, has helped establish her as one of the most exciting and prolific new artists in country music. She has built an impressive catalogue of songs since the release of her debut single, Fallin’ Off The Heartline in 2022. Songs like Drinking For Free, A Boy That’s Into Trucks, Tear You Apart and Good Enough have received impressive airplay and streaming support and have got audiences singing along at live shows.
With a swag of new songs, plus all the hits and a few surprises, fans can expect a show like no other from Sara Berki when she hits the road for the ‘Fool Me Twice Tour’ next February 2025.
