After a strong start to 2025 with their thunderous single Silver and Black, Sydney-based rock outfit Big Wheels return with Lazy Bones—a sultry, blues-soaked track laced with vintage warmth and soul.

Known for their blend of timeless rock and melodic flair, co-fronted by Cass Ford and Lawson Doyle, Big Wheels continue to carve out a sound that feels as classic as it does current.

A fan favourite from their live sets, Lazy Bones leans into layered harmonies, smoky grooves, and blues-drenched guitar riffs. Lush with texture and emotion, the track sways between dreamy and defiant—pulling listeners into a slow-burning meditation on inertia, heartache, and self-reflection. It’s a track that lingers long after the final chord fades.

The release follows the success of Silver and Black, which landed on coveted Spotify editorial playlists including New Noise, All New Rock, Local Noise, and Fresh Finds AU/NZ, as well as scoring spins on BBC IntroducingAmazing Radio UK, and Triple J.

As anticipation builds for their debut EP ‘Bury Me In Velvet’ (dropping June 2025), Lazy Bones offers a deeper glimpse into the band’s expanding sonic palette—one rooted in nostalgic tones, powerful storytelling, and undeniable chemistry.

With a string of sold-out headline shows and festival slots across Australia and the UK, Big Wheels are proving themselves as one of the most exciting voices in modern rock & roll—combining vintage swagger with fresh emotion, and songs that strike straight through the chest.
