Off the back of their killer debut album, ‘Redline’, Brisbane’s hardest rockers, PistonFist have signed to Australia’s fastest growing Rock label XMusic for the release of their latest single, Repent.
Repent takes aim at those who abuse their power, especially when it comes to looking after society’s most vulnerable people, children. Armed with massive riffs, gravel strained vocals and super slick lead breaks, Repent is bound to make you want to round up a few people you know who need to answer for their sins.
The band comment “Repent is all about the people that are meant to be looking after kids that can’t look after or fend for themselves. The people that are in places of power, that should be protecting, helping and nurturing. When these children should be in a safe place where they feel comfortable and these people take advantage of their power, take advantage of these kids, and cause harm to these kids. They need to Repent!”

PistonFist’s self styled ‘Petrol Rock’ has been burning up stages across Brisbane since 2018 leaving serious skid marks in their wake. Appearing at major festivals such as Dead of Winter, Halloween Hysteria, Outmoshyama, Moondoll Festival, Shredfest, Killfest and the internationally acclaimed, Blacken Open Air Festival in Alice Springs!
In 2023, the band opened for the legendary Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction in Brisbane and in 2024 they spent 2 months tearing up stages across Europe and are soon to be telling those road stories on their YouTube channel.
PistonFist‘s music is hard, heavy and in your face but it also delivers a positive message. To them, music isn’t just about making noise. It is about that connection that only tight, solid outfits can make. No ego, no bullshit, no labels, just good, honest and heavy rock music.
