What do bodies hitting the canvas and an EP launch show have in common? You can see both at the Mansfield Tavern on November 9 as part of Red Castle Entertainment’s next instalment ‘Carnival Sins’, the hottest wrestling and music show in town.
The show will feature Australian wrestling superstars JXT, FOX and Tarlee taking on local champions Kulture. JXT and FOX are veteran wrestlers who have held countless championships, while Tarlee is returning from a US tour and is in demand worldwide.
Kulture, the trio of Moko, Toa and Eugenie, have been dominating across the Queensland wrestling scene through their hard-hitting style and charismatic in-ring presence. Toa is returning from a Japan wrestling tour with renewed drive and all three are hungry for wins.
Other wrestlers on the card include the crowd favourite Pirates Buccaneer and Cesar in singles matches with Rip Rielly and Billie Mac, New Japan Young Lion Shep Alexander vs Zeke Andino and a brutal grudge match between EC Diamond and Dick Riggs.
The show will mark the launch of Aeon Nexus’ EP ‘Positive Disintegration’ with new tracks performed by frontwoman Sam Wolstenholme. Sam wows with her killer vocals and is backed up by a high-energy band, including guitarist Shannon Loch who is known to run wrestling ropes while he performs.
Also appearing are The Disgruntled Taxpayers, hitting the stage with hilarious hits like Fabric Softener Is The Secret To My Sexiness and Regular Gonzales, who won the ‘Br00talweight’ championship against fellow bands at the last show with some solid trash-talking.
To raise the stakes even higher, performers will be battling for their lives, their honour and their very souls. On hand will be the adorable Sister Tragic to pray for the good guys and the devilish Scarlet Lee, Oversee-er of Operations, to cheer for the bad guys. The resident Goblin will keep score throughout the night.
