Known for their skull crushing yet accessible fusion of metalcore and nu-metal, Whisperhead’s latest offering delivers a potent mix of searing riffs, deadly drums and an unrelenting vocal performance that commands your attention.
My Game, My Rules is a raw, defiant anthem born from the frustration of failed ventures and the resolve to break free from past compromises. The track tells the story of an individual reaching their breaking point, casting off the chains of manipulation to reclaim their power. Whisperhead’s signature intensity underscores the song’s core message: “My game, my rules.”
Since their launch in 2022 with Swallow You, Whisperhead has built a formidable reputation in the Australian heavy music scene. From local shows in the Central West to impressive festival appearances at Devouring the Flesh Fest and Mirkwood Metalfest, the band has consistently proven their ability to captivate audiences. Their relentless 2023 ‘Trauma’ tour cemented their status as one of regional NSW’s must-see live acts, while their homegrown event, ‘Whisperfest’, has become a key date on the regional metal calendar.
Following a successful East Coast run with Melbourne’s Vault Hill and their ‘Exile’ Tour in 2024, Whisperhead is set to showcase My Game, My Rules at the following venues in March & April.
