Blending flirty lyrics, glossy melodies, and infectious energy, she delivers her most playful single yet.
Late Night Talking marks the third release from her upcoming sophomore EP, capturing the magic of sleepless nights, caught up in endless conversation with someone who makes time disappear. It’s a celebration of connection at its most vibrant, the kind that keeps you present, awake, and wrapped up in someone long after the lights go out.
“I wanted to capture the early stage of my relationship, when we were still getting to know each other. I don’t think we ever went to bed before midnight — we’d be deep-diving into random topics and sharing childhood stories. It was so much fun that sleep just felt irrelevant.” – MISHAYLA
Co-written and produced alongside Gracie May in her home studio in Newcastle, Late Night Talking layers iridescent synths over a bouncy, disco-inflected groove.
“Most of my music has been pretty serious, reflecting how I’m feeling, but with this one I just jumped into the studio and had fun with it. The key change in the chorus actually happened by accident, but it ended up being my favourite part of the song.” – MISHAYLA
