Off the back of his performance at The Festival of Small Halls where he opened for Georgia Mooney and Joe H Henry, Gold Coast folk singer, songwriter, and performer Neem returns with a raw and heartfelt single, I Miss You.

I Miss You is a reflection on love lost too soon. Written with unflinching honesty, the song captures that bittersweet moment when someone who once knew you best suddenly feels out of reach. With vivid storytelling and a melody that lingers, Neem explores the quiet ache of missing someone while still holding space for connection—even if only as friends. It’s tender, vulnerable, and deeply human—perfect for late-night listening when memories hit hardest.

“‘I Miss You’ came from that moment when someone who once felt like your whole world suddenly slips away. It’s about the quiet ache of missing them, but also holding on to the hope of still being connected—even if only as friends.” Neem explains, “Writing this song was my way of sitting with that vulnerability and turning it into something others might see themselves in.”

Comparable to that of Jack Johnson, Neem’s music inspires atmospheres of intimacy and community — songs for long drives, quiet sunsets, and around a fire with friends. His writing is candid, reflective and sometimes cheeky, capturing the beauty and weight of life in melodies led by warm, melodic guitar.
