Precious Mess have today shared their debut single, Hold You To Your Word. It’s a riff heavy rock track that has hints of Queens of the Stone Age and Royal Blood.
Inspired by a conversation about how music in the audio realm moves hand in hand with art in the visual world, Precious Mess (Peter “Reggie” Bowman – Guitars, Vocals and Nate Hill – Drums, Art) have started to explore the possibilities of combining the two, to generate a fully immersive experience.
The two proceeded to collaborate on music writing and recording 10 songs written live together in the same room.
Then when the album was completed they then started pushing the paint around on canvas – quite literally, one canvas for each song. Each song is art. Each song creates art, paint on canvas manipulated by the audio of each song, which has been taken into the music videos for each track too.
