Brisbane deathcore outfit Roronoah return with their heaviest and most ambitious release to date with Crimson Smile Feat. Body Prison, a punishing new single that merges high level technicality with pure, unfiltered death metal ferocity.
Crimson Smile delivers a relentless mix of intricate riff work, tight precision, and devastating low end. It pushes Roronoah into their most refined and aggressive territory yet. The track features a blistering guest performance from Dan Macdonald of Body Prison, whose venom filled vocal delivery adds a new level of intensity to the song.
“To me, this song paints a really dark and aggressive picture, while writing this I was heavily inspired by the legend of Davy Jones. The Guitar layers and use of the organ really portray the menacing nature we were hoping to achieve, and Dan’s guest vocals make it all the more devastating,” says Guitarist Ryan Hopewell.
Drawing influence from modern deathcore and death metal titans including Fit for an Autopsy, Thy Art Is Murder, Lorna Shore, and Shadow of Intent, Roronoah continue carving their own identity with increasingly sophisticated songwriting and a relentless commitment to heaviness. The result is a track that blends atmospheric darkness, technical precision, and crushing weight. This stands as their most intricate and punishing work to date.
