Sienna Tenn is a Brisbane/Meanjin based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and creator whose artistry intertwines elements of indie pop, R&B, dream pop, and ambient genres. As an ode to Jeff Buckley’s rendition of soul classic Lilac Wine, Sienna Tenn explores the profound connective nature songs like Lilac Wine have between people, places, emotions and memories. Her angelic vocals tell the romance of a lilac love story, a term also used to describe a first love, or the remembrance of youthful love. Accompanied by a wistful fusion of dreamy synth improvisations, an innovatively curated drumkit timbre, and a comforting bassline, the lyricism of lilac love unveils the importance of past experiences, and how it shapes the people we are today.
The single comes ahead of the release of Sienna Tenn’s debut EP, ‘memory lane’ on March 14.
