Today, cult favouritesย The Early Novemberย andย Hellogoodbye announce the Australian leg of their ’20 Years Young’ co-headline tour. Set to take place in March 2027 with dates in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, the run sees the Drive-Thru Records alumni celebrate the 20th anniversary of their respective 2006 albums: ‘The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path’ and ‘Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!’.

The Early Novemberโ€™s brilliantly ambitious concept record ‘The Mother, The Mechanic, and The Path’ made an impression for its unique three-disc format and compelling approach to genre and structure. With each disc offering a distinct sound, and serving as a chapter in same generational cycle-breaking storyline, the album arrived as the groupโ€™s highest charting release at #31 on the Billboard 200 and is home to one of the bandโ€™s most enduring tracks,ย  Decoration.

A sugary mix of synth, ukulele and pop rock,ย Hellogoodbyeโ€™s iconic debut album ‘Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!’ became a defining moment in the mid-2000s Drive-Thru era. Featuring their breakout electropop favouriteย Here (In Your Arms), which reached #4 on the UK Singles Chart at #14 on the US Billboard Hot 100, the recordโ€™s endearingly upbeat and imaginative tracklist paved the way for a career that has spanned four studio albums and plenty of genre experimentation.

The upcoming run marks both bandsโ€™ first visit to Australia in more than 10 years, with The Early November last making their way downunder in 2016 as main support for Mayday Parade, and Hellogoodbye in 2011 performing at Soundwaveโ€™s Counter Revolution. Now, the two iconic, era-defining acts come together for three unforgettable nights of nostalgia for Australian fans.

โ€œWe canโ€™t believe itโ€™s been 10 years since our last tour in Australia! Our first trip down under was in 2013 at Soundwave, followed by a tour with Mayday Parade in 2016. We are beyond excited to soak in the beautiful scenics, reconnect with old friends, and celebrate this special album. While weโ€™re at it, we might as well play some TEN favorites, old and new. We are so grateful to be back!โ€ย – The Early November

โ€œHellogoodbye has been missing Australia quite terribly – but no longer! Excited to be triumphantly returning to celebrate our first album, ‘Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!’, playing it in full plus favorites from over two decades of hgb!โ€ – Hellogoodbye

The Australian tour follows dates in North America and the UK, and kicks off at Melbourneโ€™s 170 Russell on Wednesday 17th March, followed by a show at Brisbaneโ€™s The Met the following day, before wrapping up on Friday 19th March at Sydneyโ€™s Factory Theatre.ย
