Today, iconic Gamilaraay artist Thelma Plum announces her highly awaited sophomore album ‘I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back’ due out October 18, 2024 via Warner Music Australia.

Written and recorded in Brisbane, Byron Bay, London, Sydney, Melbourne and maybe some places she forgot, Thelma shares, “This record has been a long time in the making. It was created with love, heartache, forgiveness and care in mind. It’s personal and kind of like I’m sharing pages from my diary with you, but it’s time for it to fly free.”

Exploring themes of nostalgia, beauty, desolation and coming of age,I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back’ resonates with Thelma’s rich and intimate storytelling. The forthcoming full-length album is Thelma’s first full length release since her era-defining, Gold-selling debut album ‘Better In Blak’, which received 7 x ARIA Nominations and features 3 x ARIA Platinum singles Better In Blak, Homecoming Queen and Clumsy Love.

Today, Thelma also shares the third taste of her sophomore album with new single Freckles, following recent releases Nobody’s Baby and We Don’t Talk About It.

On the new single, Thelma adds “Freckles is a love song about someone who truly sees all parts of you. To be loved in that way by someone is, to me, so incredibly wonderful.”
