Continuing to gift us with new music in 2025, Gold Coast-based singer and songwriter bella amor returns today with the announcement of her forthcoming debut EP, ‘this is where i’m at’, out August 1. In celebration of the announcement, bella also shares a taste of the EP with empowering new single, daisyfields and announces her first headline tour for this August.
Darting between ethereal vocals and punchy verses, daisyfields radiates the innate warmth, confidence and quintessential charisma that has become synonymous with bella amor.
bella says of the single: “Some days you feel like the ultimate boss and this song is capturing that feeling. I wrote this song with Demi Louise and Alice Ivy, which is so fitting because when i am around them I feel like I am invincible. they really helped bring out the boss girl in me.”
Alongside the latest single, bella today announces her debut EP, ‘this is where i’m at’. Never one to shy away from her vulnerabilities, feelings and inner thoughts, ‘this is where i’m at’ is bella at her most honest, sharing both her highs and lows that come with falling in and out of love.
On the EP, bella shares: “‘this is where i’m at’ is exactly that. my life. it’s an auditory journal of my feelings and what I’ve been through the past couple of years. it signifies the ups and downs in life, falling in and out of love, and the insecurities I face. I love all these songs and I hope you have fun seeing inside my brain and my world. I worked with producers Chris Collins on ‘simon says’, ‘couch’ and ‘basement’ and Alice Ivy on ‘white rabbit’, ‘daisyfields’ and ‘rocks in my pocket’. this is so fitting because when I work with Chris I generally reflect a lot about my life and tend to write from a place of deep thought, whereas when I’m with Alice Ivy, I come from a place of pure excitement and write from a place of sheer enjoyment.”
bella amor ushered in a new sonic era earlier in 2025 with her single rocks in my pocket. Though she exemplifies the Gen Z voice, bella also exudes an old-soul, worldly perspective that adds a depth beyond her years. Inspired early on by big voices and warm personalities like YEBBA and Adele, bella was first drawn to music by listening to artists like these use their platform to connect with the listener on a deep, visceral level.
Enamouring audiences every time she steps onto the stage, bella secured her “one to watch” status when she sold out her debut headline show in the Gold Coast in 2022. Since then, she has performed at BIGSOUND, Grapevine Gathering and Groovin’ The Moo, as well as support slots for King Stingray, Lime Cordiale and more. Kicking off 2025 in a big way, bella amor supported global superstar Benson Boone on his sold-out Australian tour, performing at some of the country’s most iconic venues including Melbourne’s Festival Hall, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion and Brisbane’s Riverstage. bella has also taken to the stage at major events, including the 2025 Australian Open and the beloved St Kilda Festival.
bella amor will take this is where I’m at on the road this August, today announcing a run of headline shows across the East Coast. Kicking off with a hometown show on the Gold Coast on Friday August 8, bella will then continue the tour to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne throughout the month, with Brisbane getting both over and under 18s shows.
