On the back of making his debut at CMA Fest in Nashville last month, 4x ARIA Award nominated singer/songwriter Brad Cox has today released an honest new country ballad What Are The Odds via Warner Music Australia.
What Are The Odds is a romantic fuelled track that reflects on his relationship and the gratitude he has for having someone who is always in his corner, and can come home to every day. Layered with the warm, unmistakable sound long-time Brad Cox fans know and love, it’s a welcome return to the style that helped shape his career.
Of the song Brad says, “’What Are The Odds’ is probably the wedding song I should’ve written a couple of years ago. It’s an honest love song about meeting the right person and looking back on all the twists and turns that somehow brought us together. At its heart, it’s a simple song about love, gratitude and appreciating the people who make life what it is. Sometimes the best songs are the ones that come from your own backyard.”
This is the first taste of brand new music since his 2025 fourth studio record ‘Endemic Intelligence In Multiple Dimensions’. The ARIA Top 10 Australian Album was led by the singles Kickin’ Stones, The High Cost Of Living feat. Randy Houser, Sunset Psalm, I’m A Boxer, and Everything I’ve Got.
Brad will be finally taking ‘Endemic Intelligence In Multiple Dimensions’ and his new single What Are The Odds out on the road for a national run of headline dates. Kicking off next weekend in Perth at Astor Theatre, he will then travel to Adelaide, Brunswick Heads, Brisbane, Jindabyne, Melbourne, Sydney and Cairns. Full routing and tickets are available HERE. Later this year he will perform at Strummingbird Festival alongside Post Malone, Bailey Zimmerman, Cooper Alan and Stella Lefty. These live dates follow a massive 2025 that saw him performing at State Of Origin Game 3 at Allianz Stadium, Bluesfest Festival, Yours And Owls Festival, Meatstock Festival and supporting Randy Houser.
Hailing from Jindabyne in NSW’s Snowy Mountains, Brad burst onto the country music scene in 2018, where he received widespread recognition with his self-titled debut album, earning him two prestigious Golden Guitar nominations. 2020 then took Cox’s career to new heights of triumph with the release of his sophomore album ‘My Mind’s Projection’ which secured the #1 spot on the ARIA Australian Country Album Charts and #12 on the ARIA Album Chart. In 2023, his third studio album ‘ACRES’ reached #1 on ARIA Country Charts and #7 on ARIA Album Chart, and he was awarded the Golden Guitar for ‘Top Selling Country Album of the Year’ and received an ARIA nomination for Best Country Album.
