Brissie Grunge rockers VERUM have just  released their hard hitting new single Rose, which serves as the second single from their forthcoming EP. The release signifies another bold step forward for the band, fresh off a string of shows supporting the likes of WAAX, Clowns, Press Club and The Delta Riggs, as well as selling out their own headline dates, the band is gearing up to celebrate the release of their brand new single Rose, out today via Summerland Records. The song is a dark and heavy shoe gaze/hardcore driven song with a sweet and fragile subject at its heart.

Vocalist/guitarist Kaden shares “This is a song dedicated to the solace a relationship with the right person can bring during dark times. It’s a love song about the end of the world and how one’s love for another can completely remove all worries and anxiety. It’s an emotional song that makes you feel happy. It’s a very close to heart and exposed song that’s a different direction for us as a band! Sometimes our world can feel like they are imploding around us and all it takes is one person to pull us out of that hole. This is a song dedicated to that person. We as a band have been through so much and this is our way of saying thank you back to the people we care for.”

The track is  accompanied by a stunning new music video, shot and edited by Brisbane videographer James Latter. The video follows two lovers as they spend their last day on earth together, enjoying each others company whilst facing the impending doomsday. The video is a definite ‘must-watch’  as it serves as the perfect visual for such an emotional and heartfelt track.
