Brisbane / Meanjin Dream-Rock quartet, Lucid Safari, continue to prove they are a dreamlike adventure worth joining for the ride as the band release their new track, Something More.
Something More is inspired by the feeling of “what could’ve been?” – reflecting on two people whose timing was never right, leaving lingering questions about mutual feelings. The song evokes a nostalgic, late-night reflection, wondering if they ever felt the same after losing touch. With a melancholic but hopeful tone, this guitar and synthesizer driven track blends heartfelt emotion with a sense of longing.
The track was co-written with Blake Malone and Graham Ritchie (Holy Holy, Scenes) to capture a deeper, more reflective sound for Lucid Safari.
The band will officially launch Something More at Black Bear Lodge on November 30th.
