Brisbane-based artist Charlie Sloan returns with his latest single Let Me Be, a powerful blend of alternative rock and modern rock that captures the tension between self-worth and emotional release.

Drawing influence from artists like Alice In Chains, Måneskin, and Chris Stapleton, Let Me Be balances gritty guitar textures with raw, emotive vocals, creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. “At its core, the track explores the experience of recognising when relationships become one-sided, when people value what you can give rather than who you are, and the strength it takes to walk away. It’s a statement of independence, growth, and choosing your own path”.

When Charlie Sloan isn’t performing his own material, he is an in-demand session musician within the Brisbane music scene, working alongside touring artists and contributing to a wide range of live and studio projects. This depth of experience feeds directly into his solo work, bringing a refined yet authentic edge to his songwriting and performances.

Through his original project, Sloan has been steadily building a presence across Brisbane, delivering energetic live shows that connect with audiences through honesty and intensity.

Let Me Be marks a defining moment in that journey, showcasing his evolution as both a songwriter and artist.
