LAURA FRANK Previews Strongest Chapter Yet With New Single ‘Living My Life In The Front Seat’

With the release of her much anticipated debut album, ‘LIFE IN THE FRONT SEAT’, right around the corner, LAURA FRANK has gifted audiences with a striking new insight into this exciting arc – the fresh single, LIVING MY LIFE IN THE FRONT SEAT.

An anchor moment of the album, the latest from the songwriter and performer repositions her as one of the East Coast’s most dynamic voices and storytellers. Layered with sonic texture and heart-led lyricism, Living My Life In The Front Seat is an ode to self, as much as it is a vibrant offering for fans to get around.

As Laura describes, “‘Living My Life In The Front Seat’ is a toast to my future self. The one who’s followed her dreams and made it to where she wants to go. It’s a reminder to stay grounded no matter how far I fly. At its heart, it’s a love song to my home in the country. I can be flying all around the world chasing this career, but the bush is where my heart lives. No matter what life throws at me, that’s where I belong. It’s also about ownership. I’m holding the wheel and making the deals. I’m in control of my own destiny, mistakes and all.”

Putting the song together with her band at Brooklet Recording in the beautiful surrounds of the Byron Hinterland, Laura created Living My Life In The Front Seat in an idyllic creative environment: organic and nurturing vibes filling the studio, ultimately leading to the creation of a song that serves as a great emotional lynchpin on the broader album project.

With a sound that evokes the likes of Grace Potter and Brandi Carlile, Laura has developed a strong following off the back of incredible live shows nationwide; shows that have spoken to the core of her heart-led music. Continued industry and support from media and radio alike for Laura’s music, including Triple J Unearthed and a #1 placement on the AIR Charts for God Knows I Know, has stoked momentum in the lead up to album release – generating excitement in a pure and organic fashion.
