Eora/Sydney-based artist/producer Lolita Mae has come into 2025 with her first electro pop and trap single Girl
From Mars – produced by the artist herself and mixed/mastered by PAX (Keiynan, Young6ix, Isaac Puerile).

Girl From Mars combines Lolita Mae’s glistening energy of electropop production with experimental trap and dark house, channelling a shapeshifting sound from an extra-terrestrial civilization that resides on the planet of Mars.

Echoing from a dimension where she is not alone, her signature silky vocals speak a prophetic message of the
glamour of unique individuality from voices of beings we cannot see. Encapsulating the disconnect from norms and expectations of society, she revels in her own space that is powerful, ethereal, and untouchable—something beyond the reach of earthly distractions and judgment.

Lolita Mae talks about the meaning behind GIRL FROM MARS: “Their blood is red while mine is blue… does that mean anything to you? Or does societal norms and superficial indulgence mean more? After being born through fire, it’s a realisation of the power of unique individuality. There is so much beauty and realness in the darkness that no one bothers to pay attention to.”

In the live scene, Lolita Mae has previously opened for Grent Perez at the art charity event ‘ONE Sydney’ hosted by Art Aid, and performed alongside acts such as Lilyah Knight and Gemma Navarrete. Previous releases have also seen support from Triple J and Australian community radio stations 2RRR, PBS FM, 4ZZZ, RTR FM and Radio Adelaide.
