Brisbane / Meanjin Alt-Rock band Lounge have released their second single You Instead through GyroStream.
Again produced by Bugs drummer Brock Weston (Beddy Rays, Dusty, Brixton Alley), You Instead reaffirms Lounge‘s dedication to chunky riffs, pretty guitars and super-sized melodies.
You Instead explores the rampant FOMO messing with the head of a hapless modern lover as they fail to grasp the extremely casual terms of a ‘swipe right’ f*ck-buddy.
Lounge have started to develop a solid live reputation through constant gigging and some choice supports with Carla Geneve, The Hard Aches and Toxic Fox. Lounge have also started to get noticed by Australia’s new music media including Community Radio, Triple J Unearthed and various Blogs including Livewireau.
