Melbourne’s own Terra Rouge is back—and she’s louder, prouder, and more unapologetic than ever. After blowing up on TikTok with her fan-favourite track Couch Song, the rising rock princess has dropped her latest single Kissing Girls, and it’s already shaping up to be the queer anthem of the year.
Kissing Girls is a high-energy pop-punk punch to the gut—dripping with angst, sarcasm, and raw honesty. It cuts deep into the contradictions of queer denial and performative bisexuality, playfully dismantling the classic “I’m not gay, I just like kissing girls” trope. Blending pop-punk grit with a slick, modern sound, the track is driven by gritty guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and addictive electronic rhythm. Think Paramore energy with a queer twist, a chorus that lives rent-free in your head, and enough punch to scream along to in your bedroom.
“This one’s for every queer girl who’s had her heart stomped on by someone still figuring it out,” Terra says. “It’s loud, cheeky, pissed off, and ridiculously fun.”
Terra Rouge (aka Brianna Brady) has been a mainstay in Melbourne’s underground scene since she was 15, evolving into a fierce queer icon with a cult following and a live show that’s equal parts sass, sweat, and crowd-surfing chaos. Her debut album ‘So Fucking Over It’ cemented her as one to watch, and viral moments like Couch Song have only amplified her voice.
Now, with Kissing Girls, Terra is claiming her space—loud, proud, and unapologetically queer.
Catch Terra live and unfiltered at Yah Yah’s in Melbourne on May 3rd for the official single launch show. Expect chaos. Expect catharsis. Expect Terra – TICKETS HERE.
