Newcastle’s own MISHAYLA continues to build momentum in 2025 with the release of Silver Line — a moody, emotionally-charged pop track that sits somewhere between the vulnerability of Billie Eilish and the moody, cutting edge of Tate McRae. Known for her confessional lyrics and polished indie-pop production, MISHAYLA delivers another bold chapter in her evolving sound.

Following on from the punchy honesty of last single Growing Pains, Silver Line marks the second release from her upcoming sophomore EP. Tapping into a new kind of tension, the track explores the weight of toxic habits brought into a relationship.

With sharp hooks and emotional bite, Silver Line captures the chaos of miscommunication, the blurred lines between right and wrong, and the overthinking spiral that comes with wanting to fix something you’re not sure you broke.

“I feel like a lot of music right now leans into blaming the other person — which is valid, but I think there’s more to it. I
wanted to write from a place of accountability, because in most relationships, both people bring their own flaws into the mix.”MISHAYLA

Built around pulsing synths and an undercurrent of tension, Silver Line was brought to life in collaboration with Gracie May, capturing the sonic push-pull of a relationship that’s hanging in the balance.

Silver Line marks a shift, showing MISHAYLA swapping softer textures for punchier beats, layered melodies, and a modern pop finish. A clear display of her versatility. Proving she can move between intimate confessionals and bold, high-impact pop.
