As anticipation builds for Peach PRC’s East Coast headline tour; today the singer, songwriter and pop trailblazer unveils her brand new single, Secret.
The upbeat Secret is produced by Space Primates (Katy Perry, David Guetta) and co-written by Peach PRC, Space Primates and Grammy-Award nominated Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson) who also penned Forever Drunk with the rising pop artist.
Right out of the gate, Secret co-mingles sticky bubblegum pop hooks with a bright dancefloor-ready beat. Simultaneously, the cheeky and clever lyrics belie a much deeper story for Peach PRC. She opens up about a forbidden, yet torrid romance. During the chorus, she exhales, “I know you wanna keep it, your secret. And I would never speak it, your secret. You only wanna kiss me in your car. You only wanna love me in the dark. Keep it forever.”
The release of Secret comes a month before Peach PRC’s kicks off ‘The Secret PRC Tour’, playing her largest headline shows to date. Responding to overwhelming demand for tickets to her first announced shows, which sold out in record time, second and final shows in Sydney and Melbourne were added, with limited tickets remaining.
Peach PRC will play Melbourne’s Forum Theatre on Thursday March 21st (sold out) and Friday March 22nd (limited tickets), and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Friday April 5th and Saturday April 6th. In Brisbane, her Thursday March 28th show at The Fortitude Music Hall which sold out in less than 9 minutes, has released additional tickets that are now on sale.
Peach PRC is still riding a high from her ‘Manic Dream Pixie’ EP debuting #1 on the ARIA Album Charts and gathering over tens of millions of streams globally. Singles from the EP, F U Goodbye and Perfect For You earned Peach PRC #68 and #63, respectively, in triple j’s Hottest 100. In addition, Peach PRC’s single Like A Girl Does was voted #81 in the Hottest 100 poll.
Her debut EP also received plugs from Billboard, NME, and more, Rolling Stone highlighted “her original, nostalgic pop-inspired songs,” and WONDERLAND hailed the EP as “an honest and powerful introduction to her artistry.” Peach PRC received 3 ARIA Award nominations in 2023 for Best Pop, Best Video and Best Artwork while taking the stage at notable festivals such as Splendour In The Grass, Spin Off, Spilt Milk and the support slot at Blackpink’s show in London’s Hyde Park.
