Red Bull today reveals that Red Bull Symphonic will return twice as large in 2023, with multi-ARIA award winning Ghanaian-Australian artist Genesis Owusu joining forces with Brisbane Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra. The unique two-city experience will first take place at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on March 3, followed by a performance at the world famous Concert Hall of presenting partner the Sydney Opera House, on March 23.Â
For the return of Red Bull Symphonic in 2023, Red Bull calls upon one of Australia’s most innovative contemporary artists, Genesis Owusu, to collaborate with the 40 piece Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, the 40 piece Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and award-winning Australian composer and arranger, Alex Turley (Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, Omega Ensemble, Electric Fields, NGAIIRE). After two years of career highs, Owusu will soar to new heights as two arts worlds collide at Red Bull Symphonic, promising a captivating reimagination of his acclaimed catalogue of poetic punk and electronic hybridity that has earned a worldwide following.Â
