Brisbane’s premier symphonic metallers Seraphic have re-emerged from a two-year hiatus to release their new acoustic EP ‘Re-Imagined’, along with an exclusive EP launch show, to celebrate their 10-year anniversary as a band.
‘Re-Imagined’ releases on Thursday 31st October, 2024 – the auspicious day of Beltane/Samhain – and features acoustic arrangements of five of the band’s best-loved tracks. The EP features guest cellist Daniel Smerdon, who will also be performing live with the band at the EP launch show.
‘Re-Imagined’ was recorded by Bernie Wedrat at Lush Recording Studios, who boast an extensive roster of international household names they have worked with, including Katy Perry, The 1975, Jimmy Barnes, Katie Noonan, The Butterfly Effect and many more. The EP was mixed by Nicholas Wilson and mastered by Rosie’s Audio. The EP artwork was created by Danita Paz Art.
The live launch of ‘Re-Imagined’ will take place on Sunday 17th November at Black Bear Lodge, where long-time and new fans of Seraphic will have the rare opportunity to see the band stripped back in a soft, intimate, heartfelt acoustic setting. Joining Seraphic will be an eclectic line-up of supports in indie rockers Cardboard Cutouts and dark folktronica duo Daylight Ghosts – TICKETS HERE.
