Glowing with confidence, Sunny Luwe unveils her second album ‘Feeling Good’, out today. Spanning ten tracks and seven producers, it is a radiant concept album about finding freedom in creativity, kicking out toxicity, and embracing the joy of making music that feels true.

A proud Wayilwan woman, Sunny Luwe has graced stages from BIGSOUND and St Kilda Festival to BLEACH* and beyond. A three-time Queensland Music Awards finalist, her debut album ‘Flowers In The Sky’ was named 4ZZZ Album of the Week, received support across Triple J, Double J, and ABC Country, and spent countless weeks climbing the AMRAP charts.

This year, she has continued to rise with a string of singles in the lead-up to this album. From the glowing Blue Skies to the soul-stirring Letter To The Future and the heartfelt It Won’t Be Long Til I See You Again, each track has paved the way for ‘Feeling Good’.

Written in the wake of creative burnout after her debut, ‘Feeling Good’ became Sunny’s promise to herself to rediscover joy in the process. Across ten tracks, she worked with seven producers, including multi-ARIA Award winner Konstantin Kersting and long-time collaborator and partner, Matthew Collins, creating a vibrant record tied together by a strong musical thread. The result is a body of work that is spirited yet empowering, blending soul, pop and country while carrying Sunny’s unmistakable voice at its centre.

“I kinda can’t believe what the old me would put up with to be honest,” says Sunny. “I’m really proud of how much I’ve grown as a person over the years. Now I am in a beautiful relationship, and I pursue my music with such love and dedication, it’s a stark contrast to who I used to be.”

The album’s title track, Feeling Good, sets the tone with a sassy, unapologetic anthem that blends R&B, pop, and soul. Produced by Matthew Collins at Puppy Palace Studios, the track is catchy and uplifting, preaching self-love while kicking toxicity to the curb. It captures Sunny’s evolution with infectious energy, offering a soundtrack for stepping into strength and celebrating all that is real and true.

Elsewhere on the record, Sunny stretches her vision wide. We’ve Got The Power stands tall as a high-energy anthem for collective action, earning a Queensland Music Award nomination and international recognition as a finalist in the search for a global eco anthem.

At the other end of the spectrum, Letter To The Future (I’m Sorry) pares everything back to candid truth, delivering a delicate, acoustic-driven plea for the next generation. Together, these songs capture the album’s spirit, vibrant and bold, yet unafraid to hold space for tenderness and vulnerability.

‘Feeling Good’ is Sunny Luwe’s most assured work to date, blending soul-pop exuberance, heartfelt storytelling, and moments of unguarded honesty into a celebration of growth, love, and creativity. She’ll mark the release with a run of special appearances, including an album listening party and acoustic gig at Wild Flower Gin Distillery (Oct 10), a live-on-air album launch on 4ZZZ (Oct 11) and shows in November to follow.
