Born in Tamworth and descending through Anaiwan, Wiradjuri and Germanic tribes, Terresa Marie Allen (aka T-Bird) has been immersed in story her entire life. Stories of trouble, lose, fear, and falsehood, stories filled with shame, strength, resilience, heartbreak, and hope.
An established lyricist, collaborating with well-known Australian artists, T-Bird is a true seeker, fuelled by an essence of adventure and connection. Having journeyed far and wide she and her nomadic heart now reside on the lands of the Yugambeh language group, where at last she has given voice to her own lyrics and begun to weave a lifetime of stories into song.
