Ziggy Albert’s seventh studio album ‘New Love’ is just around the corner now – set to drop on the 21st of February. Recently, Ziggy has added to his extensive Australian tour with 4 more regional dates – heading to Gosford, Barwon Heads, San Remo and a second night in Port Fairy.
Today, Ziggy has blessed his ever-growing international fan-base with the announcement of the ‘New Love’ World Tour; hitting dates across North America, Mexico, Europe and the United Kingdom following the end of his Australian leg.
From humble beginnings busking on the streets of Byron Bay to selling out venues across the globe, Ziggy’s journey has been defined by heartfelt storytelling, tireless touring, and a fiercely independent approach.
Now, this tour will see him perform at some of the world’s most iconic venues, including The Malkin Bowl in Vancouver (Canada), Royal Albert Hall in London (UK), and Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon (Portugal), alongside a debut performance at Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee (USA). Spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, and the United Kingdom, 2025 promises to be a landmark year in Ziggy’s career, with the ‘New Love’ album and tour marking a significant milestone in his journey.
This tour will showcase Ziggy’s signature solo style- spirited, raw, and deeply authentic. Fans can look forward to favourites like Runaway, which recently surpassed 100 million streams, alongside new tracks from ‘New Love’ – an album crafted for live performance.
Working with co-producer GARRETT KATO on this project, Ziggy has described this album as a sister record to his 2018 ARIA Gold-Certified album, ‘LAPS AROUND THE SUN’. Written in different locations that stretched across the UK and Europe, before returning to Australia’s East Coast, ‘New Love’ is a collection of material that brings vibrant acoustic melodies together with soaring arrangements that bolster Ziggy’s moments of introspection.
2024 was a busy year for Ziggy, with the release of stunning music in singles including Where Does The Love Go? and New Love, and his 2025 release of I’m With You.
The release of I’m With You and New Love alone have drawn strong numbers on streaming platforms; I’m With You has accrued over 919,000 streams across DSPs in 2 short weeks, while New Love currently sits at 6.2 million streams across DSPs and counting. Altogether, Ziggy’s catalogue has amassed over a billion streams worldwide. Additionally, the music has been receiving strong airplay across Australian and international markets, adding to the excitement building up to this ‘New Love’ era.
