BIG NOTER Unleash Self-Titled New Single Feat. JOE TALBOT Of IDLES

BIG NOTER have unleashed their next single, BIG NOTER featuring Joe Talbot (IDLES), the latest cut lifted from their debut album, ‘Songs In The Key Of Wrestling‘, out September 18 via Island Records Australia.

BIG NOTER serves as a biting, sarcastic takedown of inflated egos and posturing, powered by explosive guitars, dirty low-end groove and a ferocious guest appearance from IDLES frontman Joe Talbot.

On BIG NOTER, Briggs says: “This self-titled song paints the picture of the ultimate punish of an individual. It’s the neighbourhood bully’s anthem. It’s completely satirical; it bears no resemblance to any person you, Joe or I know.”

Fronted by Yorta Yorta icon Briggs, BIG NOTER is the sound of frustration given volume. Fusing hardcore, punk and metal with the same directness and conviction that made Briggs one of Australia’s most respected voices, the band has quickly established itself as one of the country’s most vital new heavy acts.

‘Songs In The Key Of Wrestling’ is a debut album that arrives with purpose. Confronting uncomfortable truths head-on around First Nations identity, mental health, racism, genocide and incarceration, the album was produced by Nick Didia (Rage Against The Machine/Pearl Jam) and features a host of legendary guests, including Chuck D, Tom Morello and Joe Talbot (IDLES).

With ‘Songs In The Key Of Wrestling’ landing on September 18, BIG NOTER will hit the road for three headline shows, kicking off in Brisbane and Sydney next week, plus a Melbourne show at The Tote on September 19.
