After a mammoth 2024 and 2025 single Chasing Hearts, Western Australia’s DICE waste no time returning with new single Alter Ego, out now via Tone City Records.
With echoes of The Killers, Bloc Party and Two Door Cinema Club, Alter Ego is a driving indie rock anthem built for long nights and late drives — the perfect summer soundtrack as the northern hemisphere heats up. The release comes as the band head out on a huge run of tour dates across Australia, the UK and Europe from April through May plus the announcement of a massive tour across the USA in October.
Coming off the back of their ARIA-charting debut album ‘Midnight Zoo’ and a 24-date international tour that included sold-out stops in New York, Toronto, London and more, DICE continue to cement their place as one of Australia’s most exciting indie-rock exports. Alter Ego marks another bold step forward for the four-piece, who show no signs of slowing down.
Alter Ego is a self reflection about how your past actions can sometimes feel like they weren’t you. This track is a conversation with yourself, trying to take back control and finding your true self.
