With bass guitar in hand, a self-assured approach to songwriting and a plethora of grunge infused, indie pop melodies, Newcastle’s own Grace Aberhart today releases her anticipated debut EP, ‘What I Could Tell You’.
Featuring the heart wrenching soundscape of Letterbox and unwavering anthemic lead single Early, the debut effort from Grace also comes with two brand new tracks in If You Ever Make The Call and Slow Down.
“The creation journey has been a lesson in self-reflection, confronting perfectionism, and honing productivity.” Grace explains. “Thematically, it delves into heartbreak, self-worth, and challenges with my mental health.”
Teaming up with producer and bandmate Healey Olsen, ‘What I Could Tell You’ is a captivating blend of grunge and pop sensibilities, with soaring harmonies, polished production and guitar tones reminiscent of some of Grace’s biggest influences in The Veronicas, Soccer Mommy and The Story So Far.
With an increasing sense of assurance across each new release, Grace‘s path towards her debut EP has seen her embody a resolute style of songwriting, attempting to unload a weight of emotions in the hopes that others will relate to it.
