It’s undeniable that Majelen has been busy with all manner of ventures, and today, she will share them with the world. The release of her new album ‘Stuck With You’ and the music video for the focus track coincides with her upcoming Australian tour as well as her collaboration with Cole Clark Guitars.

Majelen is a pop-rock indie sensation to watch, with her songs taking inspiration from love stories and the Australian outback. Her romantic approach to songwriting had led her everywhere, from the 2018 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony alongside the Parade of Nations Symphony Orchestra and John Forman, to the festival circuit, making appearances at Wintermoon Folk Festival, Lighthouse Festival Gladstone, and the Palm Creek Folk Festival among many others, and 2025 has far more lined up for her.

Majelen is starting her year off on a loving high note through the release of her album ‘Stuck With You’, 12 tracks of comfort food in song form recorded at the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios.

Starting the album is Leconfield, blooming with catchy, energetic guitar loops and a wistful vibe through the backing vocals. Sand Dancing is a punchier, more percussive song that still shares the same folksy, wandering vibe. The third track, Me And You, is built on echoing, ethereal vocals that flow into the fourth song like a river. Waiting is a slow and patient, sweet and gentle anthem.

Stuck With You is a brand new track and the one the album shares a name with. Catchy, playful vocals dominate the song, blending in layers with the strumming of guitar. This track also comes with the release of a music video bursting with queer joy, made up of real clips from Majelen’s wedding day, showing a celebration of her wife, friends, and family– the people who make life so special.

Long Way To Go is a fast-paced acoustic song with vocals like spoken-word poetry that keeps the energy up, and this high energy continues on in The Mirror, a mystical-feeling and moody song with plucky guitar. Flame Tree is an upbeat and enigmatic storytelling track, and following that is Midnight, another song that dances upon a minor key in a magical way. Take My Hand is a heartfelt, emotive track that melts right into Whisper, a song that tells a story through faint vocals and repeated riffs and refrains. The finale track of the album is The Story, a gentle 6 minute story told only through skilled guitar.

The release of this album comes while Majelen travels across Australia on tour, with shows scheduled for ten locations across Australia, as well as the release of a stunning limited edition guitar created as a collaboration between Majelen and Cole Clark Guitars. More information about the special signature guitar can be found HERE.

Majelen is bringing great things into 2025 with an Australian tour, a signature guitar release, and her new album ‘Stuck With You’ and accompanying music video for the title track, out now.
