Bus Song is the last of three singles Milly McPherson is releasing ahead of her upcoming album – due for release in May 2025.
The song is the first taste of the rock and roll side of of the upcoming album. This heavier and energetic song is a live favourite and takes a comedic look at the experiences of assault, sexualisation and pressures placed on women Milly‘s age.
Milly says “As a 21 year old, I have become more and more aware of things going on around me, and almost find the way I can be treated by strange men on the bus humourous but also a ridiculous thing that still goes on”.
Milly has also confirmed an Album Launch show at Metro Social on May 16th. Teaming up with Converse Australia, a limited edition Milly McPherson X Converse Allstar shoe will be premiered at the release show – DETAILS AND TICKETS HERE.
