Queensland Punks FAKE NEWS Return With New Single ‘Nothing Town’

Queensland’s Fake News are back with another slab of punk goodness in the shape of
Nothing Town – the first single from their forthcoming EP, ‘Take Me Away’, to be released on March 16.

The band comment on the track; “Nothing Town is about the struggles of growing up in a small nothing town and not being able to escape.  The kind of place where nothing ever goes right & you’re sick of being there & you just want to burn it down. It’s a warning to others to not get stuck in those same ruts & you can walk away to a better place. Mix that in with catchy lead guitars & some big breakdowns this song takes you on a ride!

With its infectious energy, anthemic sound in the vibe of Bouncing Souls, Strung Out, The Ataris and MillencolinNothing Town is classic pop/punk. The track has a heavier edge to it with more mature songwriting showcasing the bands growth over the last two years.
They ain’t just punk kids anymore!
