SATIN CALI Dial Up The Energy With Stadium Rock Single ‘One Of These Days’ + Announce Upcoming Tour

By September 27, 2022No Comments

Exploding vocals, soaring guitars and a punchy rhythm section, Satin Cali are guaranteed to have you rocking as much as you’ll be feeling.  Modern rock done exceptionally well – Satin Cali crank up the dial to stadium rock grandeur with new single One of These Days.

90 minutes south of Sydney, in Wollongong, is where you’ll find some of the strongest rock in Australia. Following the likes of fast favourites Hockey Dad, The Vanns and The Terrys, Satin Cali make it hard to remember a time when they weren’t slinging their signature open-air sound to ears around the nation.

One of These Days is a true powerhouse of modern day Australian Rock. It shows the band pushing forward on their mission of empathy, ruminating on self-determination.

“One of these days is about believing in your goals and sticking to your guns, no matter what obstacle is in front of you. We decided to chill this song out sonically a bit more than some of previous releases, while keeping that Satin Cali grit relevant throughout. A lot of that magic we can credit Jack Nigro for too. Super pumped for this next release! Easily our best work yet”
Zac, Satin Cali

One of These Days was recorded at iconic south-coast studio The Grove, where they collaborated with esteemed producer and mixing engineer Jack Nigro (DMA’s, Skegss, Julia Jacklin, Middle Kids) rounding out this power team was mastering by George Georgiadis.

Since releasing their debut single in late 2020 they quickly found a receptive international audience with their debut single scoring airplay on esteemed UK station BBC Radio 1.

With over 250k streams across only 7 singles, it’s no surprise that previous releases have picked up major support with Aussie community radio tastemakers triple j with presenter Declan Byrne describing their sound as “Kings of Leon if they grew up surfing your local”.

Satin Cali have an eye watering resume, with a string of sold-out headline shows under their belt including three headline UniBar (Wollongong) shows, a headline North Gong Hotel show, and The Leadbeater Hotel (Melbourne) to name a few. In addition to this, Satin Cali played main support to the largely sold-out The Terrys ‘Terrysonic Mixtape’ National tour. It’s clear that the boys from Wollongong have a sound that Aussies want to hear, having already shared the stage with The Debbies, Baker’s Eddy, The Terrys and Highline

Satin Cali have released visuals for One of These Days, showcasing coastal joy and the band’s camaraderie. It features the boys rocking out in various locations, including a lighthouse, boat and football stadium.

“I had such a good time shooting the music video for ‘One of these days’, getting to shred my axe and cause a bit of chaos around Wollongong. The video shows that we are truly willing to play anywhere to have our music heard. A bookstore, intersection of a busy street, etc. Also, being able to showcase some of the epic locations our local community has was special. Super keen to show the world this one” – Gordo, Satin Cali

Satin Cali is made up of Isaac Flaherty (lead guitar), Elijah Fresco (bass), Danny Devlin (drums) and Zac Goluch (vocals & guitar). They formed through an unlikely meeting, crossing paths when a man visited a house to see a stranger about a dog. Noticing a drum kit in the corner, they started jamming and the rest is history. Accompanying this release is a multi-state tour which sees Satin Cali sharing their soaring rock on stages across NSW, VIC and QLD, with more shows yet to be added.

“We miss our Cali Crew so bloody much and are counting down the days until we get to party with them all again!” – Eli, Satin Cali

It’s evident that Satin Cali are on the precipice of great things – with a passion and drive for curating festival-ready bangers, a slew of weather-cancelled festivals under their belt (Yours & Owls, FullTime), they’re raring and ready to unleash their open-air rock to crowds around the nation.
