Gold Coast-based First Nations artist Sunny Luwe, formerly known as Dani Teveluwe, is announcing the release of her debut album, ‘Flowers In The Sky’ on October 11. As a prelude to the album, Sunny Luwe drops the sensual and captivating single I Got A Thing For You accompanied by an alluring music video that showcases her sexier side.

This single showcases her seductive and sophisticated side, redefining the boundaries of pop soul. Luwe states: “I Got A Thing For You is inspired by my favourite Nancy Sinatra track.  Last year I got obsessed with music from the 60s and 70s and Nancy appeared in my discovery weekly. This sexy, flirty track of hers, ‘Kind of a Woman’ came on and I was hooked from the get-go.”

Recorded at Neil Finn‘s renowned Roundhead Studio in New Zealand with ARIA-winning producer Steven Schram, this track encapsulates Sunny Luwe‘s artistic evolution and her commitment to crafting a truly timeless and tantalising sound. Infusing the track with sensuality, strength, and wordplay, this is a sexy turn for the sunny artist, who is proving to be a sweet as she is sexy, and a true force to be reckoned with.

Collaborating closely with Matt Collins (WHARVES, okmattcollins), Sunny Luwe has created a song that effortlessly captures the essence of seduction and desire. The process of crafting I Got A Thing For You was one of intentional lyric writing and continuous refinement, resulting in a stunning, sexy, and empowering track. Sunny Luwe‘s remarkable vocal prowess, combined with the irresistible allure of the song’s composition, creates an experience that lingers long after the final notes fade away.

Accompanied by a sensual music video, Sunny Luwe exudes her enrapturing allure and enthrals viewers with an ensemble of Queensland’s hottest dancers and performers. The inclusion of a pole dancing champion adds an extra layer of artistry to the visual narrative, leaving no doubt about Sunny Luwe‘s ability to embody ultimate boss energy.

The debut album, ‘Flowers In The Sky’, will be released on October 11 and is a ten-track celebration of life, representing a dream come true for Sunny Luwe. Choosing to express her truest and fullest nature, Sunny Luwe invites listeners into a world of self-discovery, love, and personal growth.

Reflecting on her debut album and the journey leading up to it, Sunny Luwe shares, “‘Flowers in the Sky’ is a dream come true. It might be strange to hear, but once upon a time, I believed I could never make an album. I thought it was an unobtainable fantasy, but now it’s real!”
