Starting her 2023 with a joyous high, today Tia Gostelow releases new single and accompanying video Spring To Life. A track that will transport you to the euphoric feeling of summer nights that last forever, it features saxophone highlights and is ready to be on high repeat on your playlist.
Tia says of the track: “Spring to Life is about navigating the complicated feelings of being fresh out of a relationship/friendship. Sometimes it can feel like you’ve lost yourself while being caught up in love, whether that’s romantic or platonic and it can be really hard to try and be the bigger person and do what’s right for you.â€
Tia continues, “The production of this song is really what excites me, Chris Collins took it to a place that I could never of even dreamed of. Never in my life did I think I’d have a song with congas and a saxophone solo but here we are.â€
The accompanying music video was shot by Phoebe Faye who also worked on Tia’s Say It To My Face video as well as videos for Hope D, WAAX and more.

Last month the Meanjin-based indie powerhouse played her first shows of 2022 with a run of acoustic shows in WA, with more shows scheduled in over the coming months.
Tia’s fearless approach to songwriting has seen her soar from strength to strength since arriving on the scene, earning acclaim from industry tastemakers across the country for her ability to craft epic pop constructs to sing ‘n’ dance to.
Tia’s 2018 certified GOLD debut album ‘Thick Skin‘ sent folkesque reverberations around Australia, earning her the Queensland Music Award for Album of the Year and a coveted Triple J Feature Album slot and includes ARIA certified platinum single Strangers.
2020 heralded a new sonic direction for Tia as she uncovered the disco-pop prowess of sophomore album ‘CHRYSALIS‘ which hit #1 Album on the AIR charts.
Over the last two years, Tia spent time soaking up experiences: conversations with friends, words on paper, and of course, an endless stream of playlist choruses. Tia has had more songs to choose from than ever before as she wrapped up recording sessions with Producer Chris Collins (Middle Kids/Skeggs).
