Brisbane based songwriter Benny Elder spent his days out in the mines and his nights with a guitar and a dream for himself. A mechanical engineer by trade but a storyteller by heart, so knowing that, he decided it was time to take a leap of faith and began turning his music dreams into reality.
Following on from Gotta Make It On Your Own & Longing for Change, which landed #1 on the AMRAP Charts earlier this year, Benny is back with his latest single She’s Still Blowin’ In The Wind – out now.
The engineering and mixing for this single was expertly done by Darek Mudge out of Brisbane’s renowned Airlock Studios; and mastering by Matt Gray out of Matthew Gray Mastering.
Benny adds, ““She’s Still Blowin’ In The Wind” is a heartbreak song. It’s about reminiscing on past lovers that haven’t worked out, and feeling alone and like you are never going to find the one.”
At 12 years old Benny discovered his love for music when gifted Blink 182‘s self-titled album, however, it wasn’t until ten years later he would begin crafting his own songwriting; taking influence from Blink 182 as well as artists like Passenger, Bob Dylan, Machine Gun Kelly, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran & Luke Combs.
