After their extraordinary run in 2023, Meanjin/Brisbane’s pop-punk powerhouse, Two Times Shy, are back exploring the path of self-destruction and heartache with their latest teeth-sinking single Losing My Mind, out NOW!

Since the release of their debut EP, ‘It Looks Better Than It Sounds’, the band has surpassed the significant milestone of 140k streams across streaming platforms, wrapped up their first interstate tour, and supported the likes of Late 90s, Bad Neighbour and more. The Brisbane-based outfit continues its string of heartbroken pop-punk singles and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

With saturated pop-punk guitar riffs, emotive vocals and a boisterous energy right out of the gate, Losing My Mind is an ever-evolving, meteoric track. Driven by 2000’s emo nostalgia, this belting single Losing My Mind explores the ache one feels from the plethora of problems they face, all whilst dealing with the struggles of a relationship.

Frontman Douglas Hudswell speaks on the meaning behind the track: “‘Losing My Mind’ was written about a scenario in which multiple things are contributing to you feeling like you’re going crazy. The relationship that you are in is causing you grief and the problems are exacerbated by your inability to deal with them and your self-destructive tendencies. This whole situation leads to you being fed up, wanting to break free of the situation and needing to do things your own way for a while.”

Two Times Shy and their matured musicality packs a polished punch and has fostered a well-loved sound with which all the heartbroken fans have grown acquainted. Losing My Mind is no exception, detailing a relatable storyline that anyone who is driven insane by the overwhelming problems in their life can confide in.
