Having spent 2023 featuring on an iconic triple J Like A Version and touring alongside Luca BrasiCry Club and more, Eaglemont – the moniker of Melbourne musician Bridg Jessop – today announces her debut album with heartfelt title track Party Boy.

Party Boy is a nod to feeling love for the first time and appreciating the experiences that shape you as a person. Led by Jessop’s husky, detailed melodies, the song serves as one last nostalgic look over the shoulder at the past as you ride off into a sunset of new prospects.

“This is a homage to the kind of relationships you have in your early 20’s. The kind that’s full of love and lust, excitement and huge feelings,” explains Jessop. “While you attempt to navigate the concept of truly being loved and accepted for the first time in your life, you also face the challenges of working in dead end burger shops and the desires and needs of another person.”

Produced by Jonathon Tooke (Cry Club) and mixed by Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy), the latest release from Eaglemont is the deepest gaze into her upcoming debut album, which in Jessop’s words is “a languishing walk down every wrong turn, every failed relationship and a sense of acceptance, when it all crumbles and you find your way in the end.”

The Eaglemont live band has just announced a second launch show for Party Boy at the intimate Merri Creek Tavern in Thornbury on Wednesday April 24, after selling out the first show on Thursday April 25. Supports include Bec Stevens (solo) for Wednesday and Jarrow for Thursday.
