Spacegoat is thrilled to announce the release of their new single Earthquakes, available everywhere NOW.

“Earthquakes is essentially an acknowledgement that sadness has its place and is as valid and useful as any of the so-called ‘positive’ emotions,” says vocalist, Ez. “My hope is that listeners can feel the optimism in this song and turn to it as a light in darker times.”

Earthquakes is the first release from the Aussie alt-metal band since the release of their EP ‘Catharsis’ in 2021.

Working alongside Chris Themelco at Monolith Studios for the first time, the band are extremely eager for their fans to hear the evolution of their sound in their new material.

“Chris knew exactly what to tweak to make this song come to life and be the biggest, best version of itself,” Ez explains of the recording process. “All five of us felt instantly in tune with Chris and that made the recording process so easy, so fun and so satisfying. He knew exactly what we were going for and the areas in which we wanted to level-up from the material we’ve released previously. We’re so incredibly happy with the result.”

Earthquakes is available now for digital download via Bandcamp and Spacegoat’s official website.
