Triple threat multi-award winning electronic music producer, vocalist and songwriter The Kite String Tangle aka Danny Harley shares his upbeat new single A New Day out today via Warner Music Australia. The new tune features Harley’s immediately recognisable soulful vocals and a catchy beat that runs throughout, a perfect blend of the two areas which is what Harley does best. Envisioning everyone’s hands up in the air at a live show, this sing along gem could give Arcadia a run for its money.
This new single follows on from the instrumental release Euclidean and first single in three years, Fist Fight. Of the track The Kite String Tangle says “This song, vocally, was one I wrote and kept coming back to because it felt really uplifting and positive. It’s about looking forward, no matter what happens tomorrow you’ll wake up and can make new choices and create your own path and it won’t matter what happened yesterday because you can make the choice to change. One of my favourite sounds in this is what I call ‘The Conch’ which is this kind of obnoxious horn sound that appears throughout and almost sounds like a call to arms which I thought was appropriate.”
