ARIA platinum artist, Tia Gostelow announces the release of her highly anticipated third album, titled ‘Head Noise’. The album is set to be released on 18 August and will be the follow-up to her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Thick Skin’ and its equally lauded follow up ‘CHRYSALIS’.

‘Head Noise’ promises to be a significant milestone in Tia’s career, showcasing her growth as a musician and songwriter. The album will feature ten tracks, including the already released single Spring To Life, that delve into the complexities of human emotion, exploring themes of heartbreak, safety, loss, and self-discovery.

Over the past few years, my anxiety has really affected me being able to fall asleep at night, all of the thoughts that come through can be really overwhelming, and I know I’m not alone in it. I hope in some way this album can bring a little bit of comfort to the Head Noise that might keep you awake in the early hours.” says Tia about the album title.

To give fans a taste of what’s to come, Tia Gostelow has also released a new single from the album, called Sour. Says Tia of the track “’Sour’ stemmed from an interaction that I had with a guy flirting with me and me being blind to what was going on, but I definitely took the liberty of embellishing the story. I think this is a song that can be related to in so many different ways depending on who’s listening and how their story connects while listening to it. It could be a breakup song, it could be a song about an ex trying to slither their way back into your life, it could be anything you want it to be. I think that’s the beauty of songwriting.”

Tia’s 2018 certified GOLD debut album ‘Thick Skin’ sent folk-esque reverberations around Australia, earning her the Queensland Music Award for Album of the Year and a coveted Triple J Feature Album slot and includes ARIA certified platinum single Strangers.

2020 heralded a new sonic direction for Tia as she uncovered the disco-pop prowess of sophomore album ‘CHRYSALIS‘ which hit #1 Album on the AIR charts.

Over the last two years, Tia spent time soaking up experiences: conversations with friends, words on paper, and of course, an endless stream of playlist choruses. For ‘Head Noise’, Tia worked with Producer Chris Collins (Middle Kids/Skeggs).

With the release of ‘Head Noise’, Tia is poised to take her career to the next level and cement her place as one of Australia’s most exciting artists.
